Union City High School hosted an annual state-wide event this past weekend, the New Jersey High School Dance Fest. The festival hosted 9 different high school dance programs from throughout New Jersey for workshops, performances, scholarships opportunities, a college fair, and more! It was a truly amazing day with outstanding performers.

On February 7, 2024, the Union City Lady Eagles Basketball Team hosted their Senior Night, as well as the 100th win for Head Coach Carlos Cueto! Congratulations to all of the Lady Eagles, especially their four year starters, team captains and integral members of the Union City community. They have won 3 league championships, 2 sectional championships and are looking to add to that collection this month! Best of luck to them!

On February 2, 2024, Union City High School's 9th-grade Health Classes welcomed Partners in Prevention, a respected health advocacy group in Hudson County, for an informative session on the risks associated with vaping and cannabis use.

We enjoyed another exciting National Signing Day at Union City High School. The Soaring Eagles Class of 2024 have accumulated over 1 Million Dollars in Academic Scholarships. Congratulations to these amazing athletes!
