It opens this Wednesday Night and the Spring Musical runs through Friday!

The New Jersey High School Dance Fest celebrates 10 years

With the support of the Union City Board of Education, the Union City High School Administration and District Fine & Performing Arts Supervisor, Ms. Mirtha Serret, Union City High School recently hosted their annual New Jersey High School Dance Fest. Coordinated and founded by Dance Educator, Mrs. Cristen Pennello in 2013, this statewide event included high school dance programs from throughout New Jersey. It was the festival’s tenth year, so congratulations to the staff and students for such an excellent event.

The Success of the Spring Dance at Union City High School

With the support of the Union City Board of Education and the Union City High School Administration, the annual Spring Dance Concert was an incredible success. Congratulations to Dance Educators Mrs. Cristen Pennello and Ms. Emma Russo for coordinating this excellent event. This year’s concert included dance performances from Union City High School, Jose Marti STEM Academy and Union Hill Middle School.

Applications are now being accepted for the Multi Arts Festival, which will be this June

The Multi Arts Festival celebrates the arts educators of Union City Schools and their students, by showcasing their work. This is done in display form through the fine arts, or on the stage through performance during the festival. If you are an arts educator, or run an arts club and you are interested in applying to participate in this year’s Multi Arts Festival, please visit the Multi Arts Application Website for more information on how to apply.
