The 2022 Seal of Biliteracy Award Winners Congratulations to the 84 students who have received The Seal of Biliteracy Award on June 14th, 2022. This prestigious award is given by a school, school district, or state in recognition of students who have studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages as they approach their high school graduation as stipulated by the New Jersey Department of Education.

Senior Luncheon The senior luncheon organized by Mr. Oriani and the cooking students was an excellent event. They are truly gifted and it was demonstrated with such an extensive menu to congratulate seniors as the school year is coming to a close.
Union City High School Career Day It was truly an educational experience for students during Career Day when Guest Chef Tiffany Derry made an appearance. It was an excellent opportunity for them to learn about the culinary arts.
The Celebration Of A Championship Congratulations to the Union City High School Girls' Basketball Team who unveiled their state championship banner this week. What an amazing accomplishment by these young women and they will certainly continue to be role models for future teams in the district.
Fleet Week 2022 Field Trip The Union City High School and José Martà STEM Academy JROTC Program & the Emerson Middle School Young Marines Program visited the USS Intrepid Aircraft Carrier and had a surprise visit by the USS Bataan during Fleet Week 2022. It was quite the educational experience for all the students and staff who were in attendance.
