Congratulations to Union City High School Math Coach, Ella Fisakov during this year's Ukrainian Flag Raising Ceremony hosted by the City of Union City. Mayor Brian P. Stack, the Board of Commissioners and the Union City School District will continue to express their solidarity with the people of Ukraine during this very difficult time in the nation's history.

In preparation for the upcoming school year, Union City High School will be hosting our annual summer orientation. Our goal is to have students equipped to enter the school year with the proper school uniform and identification to ensure everyone's safety and security.

As the new school year is quickly approaching, please be aware of these important regulations concerning safety, our uniform policy, identification card policy and visitors policy in the Union City School District. Hello everyone, hope you all had a wonderful Summer. As we begin the new school year on Tuesday September 6th, please be aware of the following concerning Parents Nights throughout the Union City School District in 2022-2023.

Please be advised of this important event for parents as the 2022-2023 school year is quickly approaching.

Everyone in attendance had an incredible 1st annual Young Marines celebration on Friday July 29th at the Emerson Middle School. 45 students graduated with the rank of Young Marines private. It was a privilege for all of these proud parents to cheer on their child as they showed off their abilities during the very impressive drill presentation.

Congratulations to Katherine Ocampo and Kathleen Barragan for their success at the National Leadership Conference. Katherine placed in the Top 10 in the United States for Interior Design and First Place Gold overall for the State of New Jersey while competing in San Diego. Kathleen placed First Overall Gold for the State of New Jersey here as well.

Mayor Brian P. Stack and the Union City Board of Education invite you to participate as the following sites will be open in the Union City School District for the free distribution of summer food. Any students under the age of 18 can partake. Breakfast and Lunch will be served from June 27th-August 31st. This is an excellent opportunity to remain nourished during these summer months.

On Tuesday Night June 21st, a capacity crowd of 4,000 people gathered to celebrate the 758 graduates from Union City High School. The entire educational community came out to support our amazing students, which included Mayor Brian Stack, the Union City Board of Commissioners, Ms. Ydalia Genao, President of the Board of Education and the Trustees, as well as my colleagues on the Senior Administrative Team.
