Union City High School Administrators visited Union Hill and Emerson Middle Schools recently, to help prepare the Grade 8 students for success as High School Freshmen. Students had the opportunity to meet Director of Special Education Jeanette Peña and Principal Ryan Lewis. They were able to hear all about the incredible Career Academies and program opportunities at Union City High School, as they gear up to make some decisions about their academic focus for the next four years.

Congratulations to Union City High School History Teacher John de Armas (and this year's Teacher of the Year), for his incredible work creating and curating his second year of Price for Peace: The WWII Experience.

TRAUMA CLUB is an original piece that was written by Mr. Gusevich and his Ensemble Workshop class. After it’s debut at the end of last school year, the play was so well received that we decided to revive it once again this year.

Since 1923, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Program is considered to be the most prestigious national award recognition program for teen artists. Union City High School would like to congratulate Grade 11 student, Albert Corniel, who has been recognized with an Honorable Mention Award in the drawing and illustration category. Congratulations to Albert as well as his Art Teacher (since Emerson Middle School), Ms. Kelly Wenz!
