Congratulations to Soaring Eagle Nation on winning the program’s 8th Super Football Conference Division Championship in the last 10 years. 🦅🏆

The Spanish/ESL Club went to the Jefferson Elementary School and read to the students for Dr. Seuss Week. This took place on Friday, February 27, 2026 and it was a wonderful experience for everyone.

🌎🌱 A huge THANK YOU to the United Nations and Kitchen Connections for visiting Union City and delivering an incredible, hands-on demonstration focused on climate change, sustainability, and hydroponics! Arlene Cruz worked closely with our Culinary Arts students at Union City High School, as well as our Life Skills students at both Union City High School and Esther Salas Academy.

On Monday January 12th, the Union City High School HOSA celebrated their 12th annual Alumni Night. In attendance were Matthew Abril ('14), Omar Rijo-Olmos ('19), Glenys Flores ('21), Vanessa Fuentes ('25), and Sofia Samper ('25). We are grateful to our alumni for taking the time to meet with our current members to offer advice and words of wisdom. Congratulations to junior Emily Duran, UCHS HOSA Historian, for organizing the event.

Congratulations to our students who participated in the Special Olympic New Jersey Winter Games! They are truly exceptional and represent our school district with considerable poise.
