José Martí STEM Academy’s Nardos Teklu and Union City High School’s Juan Andres Marin Villafane were honored at the Hudson County Unsung Heroes Annual Awards Ceremony in recognition of their outstanding leadership, character, resilience, and dedication to their community.

The Marine Corps Junior ROTC (MCJROTC) program at Union City High School is a nationally recognized leadership program that helps students build confidence, discipline, teamwork, and responsibility.
