Happy Juneteenth On June 19th, we celebrate the 160th Anniversary of the end of slavery in 1865 in the United States, which is known today as Juneteenth. It is a combination of the month of 'June' and the 'nineteenth' day that commemorates the happy news of newly-freed slaves in Texas at the end of the Civil War.
Fleet Week 2025 The Union Hill, Emerson, Union City High School, José Martí STEM Academy JROTC and Young Marine Cadets received private tours of Active Duty US Naval Battleships during Fleet Week. It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved.
