Cheers to Mr. John DeArmas, a Social Studies Teacher was named the 2023-2024 Teacher of the year and Mr. Wilber Valdez, the Senior Dean was named the 2023-2024 Educational Services Professional of the Year. These are two very dedicated employees in the Union City School District.

We have been continuing to integrate Jersey Fresh fruits and vegetables into the schools in creative ways while increasing student interest in trying new foods. Please be advised the Unified Club is currently looking for Unified Partners (students that are not in Special Education) for the Basketball and Bowling seasons. We are also looking for new club members in general. We are mainly comprised of students in Special Education and need to increase our numbers of Unified Partners.
