At the conclusion of the conference, Aidan Pena '23 was elected to serve on the next NJ DECA State Action Team and will be the Vice President of Public Relations for the 2022-2023 school year. Union City was privileged to have both an outgoing and incoming NJ DECA State Officer as Marco Guzman will be completing his term shortly.
El Domingo 27 de Febrero de 2022, 22 estudiantes de UCHS DECA viajaron a Atlantic City para participar en la Conferencia de Desarrollo de Carrera Estatal de NJ DECA.
Todos los asistentes se presentaron ante un juez y representaron a Union City con profesionalismo.
Un trabajo excepcional por parte de estos hombres y mujeres jóvenes.
Seis de los veintidós estudiantes que representan a Union City calificaron para la ronda final en Consultoría financiera, Ventas profesionales y Servicio al cliente. Luego de competir en la ronda final Jessica Ramírez, Joseph Khoury y Oumar Berete avanzaron en Consultoría Financiera, Jacqueline Balleza avanzó en Ventas Profesionales y John Acebo avanzó en Servicio al Cliente. Estos 5 estudiantes representarán a Nueva Jersey en la próxima Conferencia Internacional de Desarrollo Profesional (ICDC) de DECA el próximo Abril.
Al final de la conferencia, Aidan Pena '23 fue elegido para formar parte del próximo Equipo de Acción Estatal de NJ DECA y será el Vice Presidente de Relaciones Públicas para el año escolar 2022-2023.

Six of the twenty two students representing Union City qualified for the final round in Financial Consulting, Professional Selling and Customer Service. After competing in the final round Jessica Ramirez, Joseph Khoury and Oumar Berete advanced in Financial Consulting, Jacqueline Balleza advanced in Professional Selling and John Acebo advanced in Customer Service. These 5 students will represent New Jersey at the upcoming DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) this coming April.
