The Union City High School’s goal is to prepare all students for 21st century life and careers. Examples of these life and career skills are: financial literacy, career awareness, STEM education and technical education. By working closely with interested industries, trade, and post-secondary education in establishing guidance to the students, we prepare them for the future. As an example, the cooperative business education training program, in which students work part-time in the career field for which they are preparing, is a common feature of Union City High School. Through local colleges and universities, we also offer vocational training courses. Since the vast majority of industries require apprenticeship programs and / or on the job training. Union City High School’s students will move into industry as lucrative already pre-trained hires.
