UCHS Instrumental Music - Mr. Dubois
My name is Robert Dubois, and I am the Band Director at Union City High School. I have been teaching instrumental music for the past fifteen years. My education includes a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (summa cum laude) from The Hartt School at the University of Hartford. I have additional graduate credits in Instrumental Conducting.
Welcome to the Instrumental Music Website at UCHS!
We offer a comprehensive instrumental music program consisting of:
- Concert Band - A beginning level course for students with little to no prior experience
- Symphonic Band - An intermediate level course for students with at least one year of prior experience
- Honors Wind Ensemble - An advanced course for students with significant performance experience
All instrumental students are encouraged to participate in the UCHS Soaring Eagles Marching Band. See Mr. Dubois in room 1308 for additional information.
Other Extracurricular activities include Chamber Music (small ensembles), Pit Orchestra for the Spring Musical, Latin Percussion, Drum Line, and Jazz Ensemble.
