Welcome to Mr. Sosa's Teacher Page

Mr. Sosa was raised in Union City, NJ. He attended Hudson Elementary School, Woodrow Wilson Integrated Arts School, and Union Hill High School. Growing up in Union City, NJ, he participated in many youth sports. He played baseball, basketball, and football. At Union Hill H.S., he played football for head coach J. Rotondi, winter track and field for head coach J. Koepke, baseball for head coach J. Walsh / H.Sanchez, and volleyball for L. Antenucci. His high school teachers and coaches inspired him to become a teacher. At Union Hill, he was also involved in many clubs and educational programs. He is truly grateful for all his high school teachers, and coaches, who have shaped him to become the great teacher and coach that he is today. 

 

Mr. Sosa teaches physical education and health at Union City High School. He is very passionate about teaching the ESL/Bilingual population. He has been a teacher within the Union City School District for nearly two decades. In addition, he serves as the head boy's coach for the cross country and track & field programs at Union City High School.
