TED Ed Clubs from across the world, learning about one’s cultures, languages, countries, foods, and topics centered on education experiences in the virtual and hybrid classroom.
UCHS TED Ed Eagles and their TED Ed Club Leader Mrs. Nazzal have been creating videos for their virtual guests on highlights of Union City High School, the mission statement of the TED Ed Eagles Club, and also short videos about themselves, cultures, favorite foods and giving guests a virtual tour on things they have never seen before from New Jersey, United States. Conversations were inspirational as Clubs spoke to one another, and presented their videos and reflected. The two meets in March were on March 19th, UCHS TED Ed Eagles and Mrs. Nazzal met with three Clubs: TED Ed Club ELARAKI School from Marrakesh, Morocco, TED Ed Club Malaysia, and TED Ed Club UAE. Together, all four TED Ed Clubs had so much to talk about, and it was inspiring as students connected to highlight their cultures, countries and customs. On March 30, 2021, Our UCHS Eagles TED Ed Club also met with TED Ed Club Lions from Foshan, China, and TED Ed Club Nazarbayev Intellectual School, from Kyzlorda, Kazakhstan. Our TED Ed Eagles had the opportunity to learn how to say hello in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka and Xiang from the TED Ed Club Lions from Foshan, China. Also, all three clubs represented their schools, districts and countries with great respect about our prestigious schools, the varieties of cultures, customs and learned about each other’s learning environment. Plans on meeting with TED Ed Club Lions from Foshan, China, TED Ed Club ELARAKI School from Marrakesh, Morocco, and other clubs are going to be happening in April 2021.
