NJ DECA hosted its Virtual State Conference this week. Union City High School DECA had 11 competitors participating in this year's conference. All of our students represented UCHS with great pride and professionalism.
Joseph Khoury qualified as a National Competitor and will compete at the Virtual International Career Development Conference in Financial Consulting this coming April. Congratulations to him for his hard work.
Marco Guzman ran as a Candidate for the Vice President of the Central Region of New Jersey and was selected as the next NJ State DECA Officer. This was Marco's 2nd time to run for a state office and this time was successful. Marco will serve the Central Region of New Jersey for the 2021-2022 school year. Congratulations to Marco and his family for this awesome opportunity and for putting UCHS on the State Officer map.
