Dr. Garcia
Hello students and parents and welcome to my website! I am excited to be teaching Biology, Honors Anatomy and Physiology and Anatomy and Physiology 2 for the 2016-2017 school year.
My background includes health counseling as a naturopathic doctor, and teaching adults and now high school students.
I feel that my students in Biology will be receiving a foundation in scientific thinking that will serve them well in other science classes as well as if they choose to take higher level classes with me later, such as Honors Anatomy and Physiology or AP2.
I am also proud to be a Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) co-advisor with Mrs. Moreno. Our members are motivated future health professionals who are driven to learn about health education, occupational opportunities, network with former students and current health professionals, and gain competition experience. HOSA offers amazing opportunities to learn and grow and I encourage all of my students to join.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three sons.
