Fire Victim Fundraiser

Dear School Community,
 
 
I am sure you are aware of the devastating fire that took place during early hours of Saturday, March 4th in the area of 14th Street and Summit-Central Avenues that ravaged several buildings, including the worship space at St. Joseph and St. Michael Church.  Sadly, in this fire a two year old child lost his life.
 
In this disastrous fire, numerous families, most of them with children attending our schools, lost all their belongings.  These families are facing plenty of difficulties and are underprivileged.  They are struggling for the basic necessities of life.
 
In order to assist them to return to a normal life, please be advised that on Friday, March 10, 2017 our school district will be conducting a district-wide denim day for the affected families.
